Foundations Package

For Freshman and Sophomores, the Foundations Package is intended to build a solid knowledge base and let you have a short, focused list of actionable items to manage throughout the early high school years.  This early preparation will allow your family to discuss any concerns, challenges or questions early on, and will equip you with a roadmap for the entire process.  Being prepared in advance will help reduce stress and confusion during the much more active Junior and Senior years.

Junior and Senior Services

These comprehensive services are intended for Juniors and Seniors.  Adding SAT and ACT testing, college visits, college research and applications to an already packed school and extracurricular schedule can be daunting and fairly unmanageable if not prepared and organized.  Understanding what is needed at each stage allows you and your family to focus on what is needed at each particular step.  Our services and support are customized to the level of support you think you need and can range from goal identification, college research and matching, application strategy development and application assistance and support.  We will work together to determine the level of support desired and to schedule meetings (in person, online and by phone) as your schedule permits and to keep things on track, on time and by deadline.  You and your family will have ample time to plan for upcoming events and deadlines and make informed decisions.  We provide extensive guidance and feedback throughout the entire process.

Athletic Recruiting

STAR College Consulting assists college-bound student-athletes with a full range of proactive recruiting activities designed to increase your visibility to coaches and improve your chances of playing the sport you love in college. Most athletes don’t realize that you need to proactively build your own recruiting interest. We help you identify your individual goals related to playing a sport in college and provide guidance with all aspects of the recruiting process including identifying target schools, outreach to coaches, player profile creation, guidance on effective recruiting videos, official visit preparation, NCAA and NAIA rules of the road, assessing the best-fit team and college through to making your final commitment.
